Frint desk was super helpful on all interactions. I stayed here 1 night mid tour and returned for 3 nights after the tour. My room was 100. It was basically redecorated nicely & faitly recently. . Good bed. They offer an optional breakfast plan. I didn't add the option. I did stop by on my final AM & enjoyed Disporas museli cup & a nice med cappuccino (about $12 USD total, very filling) Expect to walk a few blocks to city transport or main street. I'm active, live in a major US city, so this was not an issue for me . Uber to CBD is very inexpensive & quick. I used the bus to Adelaide airport , which was a big savings over Uber. Maybe a 12 min walk to this stop. A few opportunities for improvement. Note: I thought value was very good here! I'm a worldwide frequent traveler & solo. On my 1st 1 night stay at least 1 bottle of water was inside room. 2nd stay of 3 days, no water provided. Kettle, coffee & tea pods were provided. Bed was made daily. Toilet wasn't cleaned, used cups & glasses were not replaced & 2nd AM coffee pods were not replaced. 1st day towels on floor were not replaced (there were a few extra towels & reception was closed when I returned late. I didn't reach out for more help) Floor wasn't vacuumed. Shelf space is very very minimal in bath. I grabbed a chair from lobby area and used the vynal seat for extra space for cosmetics etc I wanted in bath area. Adding a small table or shelf inside next to bath door would be most helpful. Note there was an amoire with safe and also a spacious shelving area. A desk, and a low shelving unit, perfect for luggage A full lenghth mirror Just not convenient for inside bath use items. Wifi worked well when I was in the room There were full size refillable container body soap, shampoo in shower & at sink. . . I would consider staying here again .

Being an older building, the rooms are very generous with high ceilings. Everything is a little dated, but clean and tidy. There are large, comfortable lounges in the hotel and a fully equipped kitchen for public use. An excellent breakfast is provided by a bistro 200m along the road. Our room (325) was very quiet with a well functioning silent air conditioner. The hotel is within 1km walking distance from the botanical Gardens and Rundle Mall. An Uber from the airport should cost about $18.

A really special hotel. It has old world charm, but great facilities, staff and comfort. The rooms are very large, and there is also a large common area and an extensive kitchen on level 2 and 3, balcony area and snack machine. Made it easy to make/cook food as needed in the excellent kitchen. I would like to stay here again, really is a top notch hotel (and some great old artworks around the hotel). Late checkin was very easy.

Always my favourite place ot stay in Adelaide with friendly, professional and helpful reception staff and management, and beautiful rooms. The location is excellent - close to the Central Markets and Botanical Gardens and the rooms are spacious, well thought out, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the cooking facilities on each floor, the fresh herbs outside, real coffee bags good quality bathroom products and gold drapes.

We were on road tour from Sydney and stayed at motels that accepted our dog. I felt a bit hesitant to book a hotel in the middle of CBD for us and the dog. I was so wrong. The hotel was extremely comfortable and welcoming to us with the our dog. The room was spacious, the beds were great. And most importantly, we could walk the city centre easily from our hotel. We will certainly return when we are in Adelaide again.
